What is happening


Come preach Christ in the middle of the action at Canal Days in Port Colborne—a high-energy, family-packed summer festival and my personal favorite event of the year to evangelize at. The streets are full from morning to night with families from all over Ontario, drawn in by a vibrant concert series, carnival atmosphere, food vendors, historic ships, and the iconic lift bridge. The setting naturally slows people down, opens conversations, and creates countless gospel opportunities. Through my connections with local churches and ministries, we have a trusted platform to minister publicly, including open-air preaching stations, ongoing tract distribution, and steady one-to-one conversations with people who are relaxed, curious, and approachable. Canada is a friendly place to share the gospel, and Canal Days is an ideal environment. If you love evangelizing where families gather, music fills the air, and the harvest is ripe, this is the place to be.


Lord willing SFOI will be there and is looking for 10 evangelists to join the team.


If you are a present open air Gospel preacher or want to begin, pray about joining the Team for an outreach of prayer, fellowship and 6 - 8 hours per day of ministry to fans and local citizens.


If you can't attend "Sponsor An Evangelist" (donate the fee) for someone to go in your stead: SAE.

Prayer:


Please pray daily for the Port Colborne, Ontario Civil Magistrate based on 1 Timothy 2:1-7.

  • Prayer is the foundation of the SFOI and praying for the Civil Magistrate has allowed the outreaches to operate smoothly over the years. So this is a must.
